Choir
The choir sings each Sunday morning from September to June.
Rehearsals are on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on
Sundays before the service. During July and August the Choir sings
every other week, rehearsing on the morning they perform.
If you enjoy singing the Lord's praises we invite you to become a
member of the choir. No audition is required - just a heart for worship.
The choir is a family, a place to grow spiritually and a wonderful way to
serve.
Instrumental Worship Team
Instrumentalists accompany the hymns every Sunday morning. The
team rehearses at 8:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings. If you play an
instrument and would like to join the Worship Team, please contact
Bev Jennings to arrange an audition.
WISH (Women in Service to Him)
WISH is a women's service and fellowship group that meets on the
second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings consist of
service projects, as well as book studies and fellowship. Once each
month the ladies also meet to work on "Ugly Quilts" which are warm
sleeping bags given to homeless people through the Boston Project,
and through our own Open Door. All ladies are welcome to attend
these meetings.
Coffee Time
Coffee and baked goods are served each week in the Fellowship Hall
immediately after the service. Check with Joan Ripley to see how you
can help.
The Open Door - "Meals with a heart"
Every Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 meals are served in the
Fellowship Hall to individuals and families in need. This outreach
program is open to all members of the community who could use a
free hot meal. Volunteer helpers are always welcome.
The Norwood Ruth Project
The mission of the Norwood Ruth Project is to walk with women in
