Whether you're just beginning your Christian journey or have been a believer
for years we want you to feel comfortable and spiritually nourished at the
United Church of Norwood.

If you're thinking about visiting us let us tell you what our service is like:

How long is the service?
Our Sunday morning service begins at 9:45 and concludes at 11:00.

What kind of message will I hear?
You will hear a Bible-based, inspirational message from the Pastor that is
designed to encourage, to teach and to help us to cope with daily life.

What should I wear?
There is no dress code at the United Church, so wear what you're comfortable
wearing. At our services you will find some people dressed quite casually and
others dressed a little more formally.

What is the music like?
Our service begins with a short sequence of praise choruses accompanied by
the Worship Team. Thereafter, a number of traditional hymns and Gospel
tunes are sung. The choir sings each week from September through June and
bi-weekly during July and August.

What about children?
The service includes a weekly Children's Message after which children ages
3-7 have the option to leave the sanctuary to participate in a supervised
Church Time Program. The parlor is set up with sound and toys for parents
with active children. The nursery on the third floor is also available and
equipped with audio to allow you to be a part of the service.

Is there Sunday School?
Classes for all ages are available beginning at 11:15. Check the weekly
bulletin for the location of each class.
